Looking back ended up building and managing profitably new ventures/functions/verticals in established organisations.Previously Sameer used to Head - M&A,PE,Advisory team at SBI Capital Markets and also was Heading the Investment, Portfolio Growths & Exits team at Bennett, Coleman ^ Co (The Times of India Group)

Sameer was instrumental in building & managing for 10years a global mid-market cross-border M&A alliance, now called Oaklins, for India's largest Bank - SBI Capital Markets across 24 countries, while also originating and executing deals for/with companies in multiple global markets US/EU/MENA/SEA. Sameer played a key role in establishing and managing the SBI MF Joint Venture with Amundi over the years. Sameer started his career with the Mahindra Group in late 90s in Strategic Sourcing and also has served the Haribhakti Group for over 5years in the corporate finance team executing valuations, mergers, diligence and financing projects for their clients and honing his skills in corporate finance
